Since Thailand is still lack of knowledge and resources at computer security. There are not many events in
Thailand which allow specialists in this field to learn or exchange their knowledge. Therefore CITEC had
established the event named CITEC Convention (CITEC-CON) which expects to be as same as DefCon (the famous
world hacker’s convention). But, CITEC-CON emphasis on provide the opportunity the Thai computer security
specialist exchange their knowledge/experience as well as to catch up the new trend of any harmful threat which
may cause an impact to their organization or life.
